Trainee Electrical Engineer Data Center Groningen
The largest data centers in the Netherlands are in the Eemshaven. They run on power that must never fail. And that power? We take care of it.
As a trainee Data Center Engineer you learn the trade from the ground up, on site in the data centers of the Eemshaven. No diploma needed. You work alongside experienced engineers four days a week and go to school one day a week. Within three years you work independently in the data centers.
No day is the same.
This is what a typical week looks like. Four days on site, one day at school.
The clients change, the locations change, the tech changes.
Ride along to a data center and replace battery modules in a UPS system together.
On-site maintenance, pulling cables and taking measurements under guidance.
Help with inspections and see how a backup power system works.
Off to school for your BBL Electrical Engineering programme.
