ESD cleaning

Dust strains cooling, sensors and electronics. We clean computer floors, racks and the space beneath the floor while the equipment keeps running, protected against ESD: electrostatic discharge, the spark that destroys running electronics.

Your halls and racks cleaned, while everything keeps running.

We clean rooms, cabinets and surfaces with ESD-safe agents. No water, no static charge, no interruption to the operation. On multiple live sites we do this three times a year: 1.200+ racks cleaned inside, fans treated with an ionization gun where needed.

Clean under the floor too, where the dust collects.

The cabling runs under the raised floor, and that is where most of the dust collects. We clean the plenum, the space under the tiles where the air and cables run, without disturbing the airflow. The computer floor comes up tile by tile, no more than five at a time for stability, and both sides are cleaned with an ESD HEPA vacuum: filtration that captures 99.99% of particles above 0.3 µm.

Every step to an ESD protocol, safe for your equipment.

Every action follows an ESD protocol: grounding, materials and method are matched to keeping sensitive electronics running. Each room has its own written work instruction: what gets cleaned, what does not, and how.

The work package

Server rooms

ESD-safe cleaning of rooms, cabinets and racks. Surfaces and floors, cleaned while the equipment runs. No water, no charge. Designated racks are cleaned inside, fans treated with an ionization gun where needed.

UPS rooms

Cleaning of UPS and battery rooms. Dust-free matters most here: heat and dust are a bad combination around batteries and power electronics.

Computer floor

The walking surface and the tiles: up tile by tile, no more than five at a time for stability, both sides cleaned with an ESD HEPA vacuum, then damp-mopped.

Under the floor

Cleaning of the plenum. The space under the tiles where the air and cables run, often untouched for years, full of dust. In large halls, the data cable trays are included.

ESD-safe

Working to ESD protocol. Grounding, materials and method matched to sensitive, running electronics. Safe for the equipment.

Periodic plan

One-off or periodic. After each round: a measurement, a signed handover protocol and a report per location. We draw up a schedule that fits the contamination level of your room.

How we clean in operation

Four steps, from risk assessment to handover with measurement and report.

01

Survey & risk assessment

We look at the room, the equipment and the airflow, and set the safe working method.

02

ESD protocol & planning

A work instruction per room, planned at a time that does not disturb the operation.

03

Cleaning in operation

Cleaning while everything runs. Grounded, dust-free, without disturbing the cooling.

04

Measurement & handover

After each round: a measurement, a signed handover protocol and a report per location. A periodic schedule if you want one.
