Busbars, power cabling and cable trays and ladders: we pull, mount and measure, with our own engineers. We work for UPS manufacturers and their channel, and as a subcontractor for the work installers outsource to us.
Busbars are the copper or aluminum rails that carry heavy power through the data hall. We mount main and distribution busbar on a fixed support structure, aligned and fixed joint by joint. In the Netherlands: around 680 m in 52 runs, mounted in a live data hall.
We pull power cabling over cable trays and ladders, the support systems we mount ourselves, and terminate it at the distribution. Lugs are crimped properly; every conductor gets a label on both ends. One project: 144 DC cables of 95 mm², terminated with M10 lugs.
After installation we check every run and every cable with an insulation tester, the measurement that confirms the insulation is healthy. The readings go into the handover file. In the Netherlands, the Site Acceptance Test, the client's acceptance test, confirmed the installation run by run.
