Working safely on site
We work in high-security data centres, often while the installation is in operation. On site we work like this:
- LMRA first: before we start, we carry out a Last Minute Risk Assessment at the workplace.
- ESD protocol: earthing, materials and method are fixed, so running electronics are protected against electrostatic discharge.
- Daily agreements: the foreman agrees with the site contact what happens that day.
- Access and site rules: in secured data centres we follow the site's access and work procedures.
- Work at height: with an aerial platform or mobile scaffold, so the work can be reached safely.
Recognised training company
As an SBB Erkend Leerbedrijf we train our own engineers. Since 2020 we have done so in our own First Case Academy, including the BBL work-based route in electrical engineering. More on that at careers at First Case.
