Technical Intern Data Centers
The internet runs on power that must never fail. And that power? We take care of it.
The people behind the internet aren't only engineers. First Case works on the critical power infrastructure of data centers and is growing fast. During your internship you stand right in the middle of the technology that keeps data centers running, you really pitch in on site, with short lines and often a prospect of a permanent spot after your studies. This internship is for applied-sciences and university students; if you're at vocational level, there is the BBL work-study track.
No day is the same.
No practice room. You're in the largest, most complex data centers in Europe.
The locations change, the tech changes, and you learn something new every week.
You ride along with an experienced engineer to one of the largest data centers in the world. There you help replace battery modules in a UPS system that big tech companies depend on.
You take measurements, pull cables and see how everything is connected.
You see how an emergency power system is commissioned.
You get to know the systems from Eaton and Schneider Electric, and review your week with your mentor.

A fair internship allowance
You receive a fair internship allowance, indicatively €400 to €650 per month depending on your level and the stage of your studies, plus a travel allowance.
A good fit on both sides? Then there is often a prospect of a permanent spot after your studies. First Case is growing fast, so those who want to grow can do so here.

As an intern I was already in data centers that the largest tech companies in the world depend on. That is where you really learn the trade.
