First Case handled transport, placement and mechanical installation of two 200 kVA Schneider Easy 3M UPS systems with battery cabinets at Amsterdam Centraal station. Ten pallets of material, 92 battery blocks and bypass panels, delivered install-ready within the windows of a live station.
Two 200 kVA Schneider UPS systems with 92 battery blocks, placed install-ready at Amsterdam Centraal.
A UPS installation at Amsterdam Centraal leaves no room for improvisation: the supply chain has to be right and the station stays operational. Two 200 kVA UPS systems, two battery cabinets and 92 battery blocks had to arrive on site heavy, complete and in the correct order. Schneider wanted one party for transport, placement and mechanical installation, so its own engineers only had to connect and commission. Work on weekdays only, within fixed windows.
The scope: ten pallets through warehouse inbound and outbound, transport within the delivery radius and on-site installation of batteries, bypass panels, breakers and sensors. Lead time around five weeks after order, handed over install-ready for Schneider.
Material moves through warehouse inbound and outbound to site, within the delivery radius and fixed windows.
Two 200 kVA UPS systems and two battery cabinets are set in their final position.
Per cabinet a string of 46 battery blocks is placed and mechanically mounted.
Bypass panels are hung and the battery breakers mounted in the cabinets.
Internal wiring, temperature sensors and network cards are fitted and connected.
Before anything goes on site, the goods run through warehouse inbound and outbound. Ten pallets are checked, bundled and staged in the right order. Transport happens within the delivery radius and on the agreed reception slots.
On site, two 200 kVA UPS systems and two battery cabinets are set in their final position. Each cabinet takes a string of 46 battery blocks, mechanically mounted and in sequence. The heavy material is brought in over a level, clear floor.
Finally, the bypass panels are hung and the battery breakers mounted. Temperature sensors, network cards and internal wiring are fitted and connected. The whole is handed over install-ready, so Schneider only has to connect and commission.
A fixed flow: procure, supply, place, install, hand over.
Material is ordered and staged, lead time around five weeks.
Ten pallets staged through warehouse inbound and outbound.
Two UPS systems and two battery cabinets set in position.
Batteries, bypass panels, breakers and sensors installed.
Internal wiring connected and handed over install-ready.
The systems stood complete and in the right place when we connected. One party for transport and installation saves us coordination and on-site risk.
Total maintenance of the entire electrical installation of a hyperscale data center in North Holland with a fixed supervisor-led crew, more than 200 planned working days over several months.
12 Schneider Galaxy VXL UPS systems placed and fully DC-cabled in a colocation data center in the Amsterdam region, 144 cables of 95 mm², every conductor labeled.
A new busbar system tested with a 1 MW loadbank, both feeds loaded separately and in steps, with five compact units under a single remote control.
