UPS systems weighing 2.000 kilos. Battery cabinets the size of a wardrobe. Racks installed in the most secure buildings in Europe. This is no standard warehouse work.
First Case is a full-service specialist in complete installations, from procurement and transport to installation, commissioning and maintenance, with data centers as its focus and even its own technical design for the equipment cabinets. For our warehouse in the Westland we are looking for a logistics employee for goods receipt and order processing. You work with the equipment the digital world runs on.
No day is the same.
No standard warehouse work. You handle equipment bound for the most secure data centers in Europe.
One day in the warehouse, the next on site at a data center.
You receive a shipment of UPS modules at the warehouse in the Westland: inspecting, registering and preparing them for transport.
You drive the trailer or truck to a data center and help install racks and battery cabinets.
Stock management, and you prepare the disposal of old batteries according to the rules for hazardous goods (ADR).
You prepare an order for a project in Belgium. You work with the equipment the digital world runs on.

A salary that grows with you
A salary of €2.900 to €4.100 gross per month, depending on your experience and certifications, under the Metal & Engineering CAO. First Case is growing fast, and this role grows with it.
You earn your forklift, BE/C and ADR certificates at First Case's expense. If you have technical ambition, you can grow internally towards a role in the technical track. We agree the employment terms together.

You work in a small, close-knit logistics team with short lines to the engineers and planning. Since 2004 First Case has been the specialist for critical power infrastructure. You get to know the equipment that the largest data centers in Europe run on.
